Consultation Services

Harmon-Meek Gallery has operated in business since 1964 in Naples. We are the most experienced in helping guide clients in selecting works for their homes and collections.

We have consulted and guided purchases for many different purposes: for the pure enjoyment of art in homes, for collectors who are building purposeful collections, for those purchasing a gift for someone special, as well as clients looking for works that fit a specific decor. We will guide you through the process with honesty and transparency.

We closely vet the artists we represent and only select professional artists with robust resumes. Our focus is solely on American artists who meet the high criteria of having works in the permanent collections of museums.

Harmon-Meek Gallery is a highly reputable gallery with extensive knowledge in American art. We have curated nearly 1,000 exhibitions, over 200 of which were curated for art museums across the Nation. Click here to view the listing. We have written many articles about collecting art, which can be found by clicking here. Our directors have given many lectures on collecting art and the history of art in Naples. We are called upon frequently by journalist to help answer art related questions.

Let our expertise help you in finding the best works for your home and collection.

Kristine Meek and Juliana Meek have provided many talks and answer art questions regularly.

Opportunities to Meet the Artist

Harmon-Meek Gallery provides intimate occasions for patrons to meet the artist or in the case of deceased artists, someone with extensive knowledge on the artist. This opportunity may come in the form of an opening reception with the artist, a lecture, or a special meal with the artist. During these times, you will be given the opportunity to ask questions of the artist or expert. You will also have the opportunity to have your photo taken with the artist by a professional photographer.

If an artist has a published book that is currently available, you will receive the most recent, currently available book with the purchase of a work by that artist from Harmon-Meek Gallery. This is our gift to you. Artists are happy to personalize books with a signature to you at our events to meet the artist.

Framing and Reframing

All works of art are sold with frames included, unless it is the intent of the artist to keep the work unframed. The frame is the transition from your home decor to the painting. As such, in most cases, we are happy to have the work you purchase reframed to suit the decor of your home. The new frame will be mutually chosen by both Gallery and client at a third-party framer of the Gallery's choosing.

Installation and Hanging in your Home

Harmon-Meek Gallery is pleased to offer our expert services in hanging and installing works in your home, within Collier and South Lee Counties. With paintings, this service is at no extra charge. With installation of large outdoor sculptures, we will refer you to a reputable third party who will charge accordingly.
