Just in time for Valentine's Day and in anticipation of spring, we have our Flower exhibition featuring Gary Bukovnik for the month of February at our location at 382 12th Ave S. We are open Tues-Sat 11-5.
One of America’s leading watercolorists, Gary Bukovnik is known for his brilliant colors and captivating compositions making his work nothing short of creative genius.
Bukovnik’s work is in several museum collections including:
- The Brooklyn Museum;
- The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York;
- The Chicago Art Institute;
- The Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C.;
- The Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio;
- The Cleveland Museum of Art; and
- The Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.
Bukovnik has exhibited and lectured widely in Asia, including The Shanghai Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum and The Today Art Museum, Beijing. He is the subject of six books, including most recently: “Flowers - Forever Spring” a bilingual book in Chinese and English published in Shanghai in 2019.
